About Sarah

I am an Assistant Professor of Instruction at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. I received my PMHNP certificate from Ohio University and am currently pursuing a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP).

My husband, John O’Brien, and I planted a nondenominational church, River City Fellowship, in Gallipolis, Ohio. This experience has deepened our commitment to mental health and community support.

I employ a warm holistic approach accepting clients of all ages from children to older adults.

I value spending more time with clients and can do so through private practice. I am an advocate for breaking the stigma surrounding mental health and am dedicated to ensuring accessible care for all including children, adolescents, young adults, adults, and older adults.

I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience due to my role in nursing education and mental health. Through motivational interviewing I hope to inspire and empower clients while providing a safe relaxed environment.
